Reflections of the unreflected...

This entire plan is too messy for my liking, it all starts to develop just fine and then I just get carried away in my... delvings into the path... I am aware that Alexander asked me to guide him into the Power and the Inner Voice, but I am no priest anymore, I am a horseman now, and rightly so...
And yet, I find myself more and more committed to guiding Alexander away from his pitiful clutches of his so called humanity (boohoo... cry me a river...) and into his real kindred realization... up to the point of being careless, or so focused into it as to let my guard down in other issues...
The tremere died by his own "hand" before render himself entirely to the tender cares of myself and my newfound Tzimisce companion... I still fail to understand how these stage magicians managed to oust the Tzimisce back in the day... as I once heard, compared to the ancient earth binding magics of the Tzimisce they are nothing, compared to our own power over the mortal world, they are even less...
But still, the question remains, how did he come by the argent batton... and what did he expect to win by invading the Crowned Talon...? he costed me excessive resources, that much is for sure, but I don't think that being extinguished himself and just slightly debilitating my position was any part of his plan...
Baclav has gone to meet whatever fiery afterdeath he and his sorcerous ilk are destined to, and my questions remain unanswered...
What is the fool Radek planning with this True Blood nonsense? there is no way the camarilla bigots are going to let him get away with this... nor the Sabbath for that matter...
Can we possibly get in touch with Víktor? will he become a reliable pawn? er... ally?
My plan to frame Baclav for the lost of the argent batton has gone somewhat awry, though good professor Carter has suggested we still go ahead with that plan... I wonder...
The shovelheads are starting to show signs of weakness, yes, I am their master, but the mere sign that they recognize such as an unchallenged fact marks them as unfit to be true Lasombra... Christen would have my head in a silver plate if she saw that... the darned bat... I will challenge her to monomacy once my power has increased enough... but just not yet... I still have plans ahead... maybe I can get the Amici Nocti grant me a hearing and have her condemned to amaranth by her beloved and most beautiful childe... myself; before the Courts of Blood... but just not yet...
Nina, beautiful, strong and ancient Nina gave me this chance to get away from Christen's stiffling and suffocating wing, it had to be someone from the very clan ("brutes" they are called within the Sword of Caine by the rest of the flock, inanes, I call those who use that moniker...) that started the Anarch's revolt and our bid for freedom, I supposse... and away from her I have been able to grow in my own right... it took me nearly 50 years to start understanding the very basic principles of Obtenebration under Christen's tutoring, all because she thought she could make a better use of me by developing my domineering abilities and natural talents... and now, on my own... not even six months in Prague and I have already reached into the very Arms of the Abyss itself! I am twice as strong as I was when I got here, and that's way more than your average kine, it was all within my grasp and that bitch kept it from me all this time... I will make her pay when the time comes...

And now, it seems we are being watched... kine trying to stalk us? I would laugh if I could still draw breath... Ludwika Reindheart, interesting addition to my retainers, I will most certainly enjoy breaking her, though I will enjoy making Alexander actually break her even more... I must be careful to not offend professor Carter with this... I would do well to remember Nina's recommendation regarding the Tzimisce ..."treat them as you would do a low burning fire... with respect, and from a safe distance..." I have not listened to the distance part... better watch my step around him...

The other day, I rided the roller coaster with my dad... I was really happy, but we had to come back home early becos' mom felt sick... she has gotten so fat lately... I don't like her like that...

In shadows we walk...

Then I asked myself, why this fixation of kine with writing journals? I never quite understood it, not even when I was breathing... but now... things have changed... I find myself lacking... a reflection, among other things, maybe this journal is a mere attempt at recovering my lost mirage, my mirror-self... a certaion need to... perceive the things that I've done from afar, from the outside, so be it then... let this be my "reflection" act in whatever sense I may possibly need it...

I saw a nice butterfly one day... it had some real neat colors, but then I forgot...

Soron Larco's Datapad: A fallen friend, new allies and a dark step.

It seemed just like any other day at the Academy: studying, meditating, practicing force skills and lightsaber combat. However, this time combat training was special; our master had promised us a crystal for our lightsaber if we impressed him in combat. We were so excited! Gorwuken and I fought well that time, we used different resources including force strike. It was frowned upon by some Jedi masters to use force skills to win a combat, Master Echuu Shen Jon said it was ok, though. I defeated Gorwuken, as usual, and our master rewarded us with our crystals, which we couldn’t wait to assemble into our lightsabers! It all seemed to be going well in this padawan’s life. Little did I know that would be the day my comfortable routine would come crashing down…
We were heading towards our chambers when we ran into a Duros kid whose name is Wertz Krachen, nicknamed by some as the Padawannabe. Rumor has it that he was sent to the academy but for some reason the Masters didn’t deem him fit for Jedi training. Nevertheless, he was allowed to stay and help in the hangars. When we ran into him, he seemed to be slicing a computer and reading some information about some “Bantha Rawk” guy, who’s apparently somehow related to Master Kol Skywalker. I was about to ask him what the blazes he was doing when suddenly alarms went off everywhere; we were under attack!
Gorwuken and I dashed back to where our master was. We found him and offered to fight beside him, to what he replied: “No, my young padawans. This is beyond your skill, go to your quarters and hide!” We obeyed his command grudgingly since we were eager to meet real enemies in battle. Then I’d find out the meaning of “Be careful what you wish for”.
We were attacked by a group of battle droids, and although we were outnumbered I thought “Heck, they’re just droids! We’ll make short work of them!” Darn droids were giving us a run for our money but I thought I could sense we’d win. I couldn’t sense what actually happened: Gorwuken fell. There he lay, his robes still smoking from the heavy blaster shot he’d taken. I saw red, I felt rage overtaking me and without a thought I channeled energy through my body and as I yelled, my fingers released lightning bolts which destroyed some of the attacking droids. I recklessly continued fighting the remaining droids with my lightsaber and then I realized that another padawan, a trandoshan named Tusserk was skillfully fighting beside me, and Wertz had also been accurately shooting the droids from afar. When the fight was over, I tried to pick up Gorwuken to take him to the infirmary but I heard someone say: “It’s too late, he’s dead. We must run or we’ll end up the same.” I just picked up Gorwuken’s lightsaber and whispered while grinding my teeth “I’ll avenge your death, brother.” Wertz said he knew a ship we could use to escape, so Tusserk and I followed him towards the hangar. I was hoping we wouldn’t run into more droids or stormtroopers. We came across something worse…

Re: Is there room for Faith in Prague?

From: Tobias - tobias.knowsitall@hushmail.com

To: Faith - faith.blut@gmail.com

Dear Faith:

Yes, it’s been ages and I’d be really glad to see you. So why don’t you just get away from all the turmoil in Hamburg and spend some time here, I sure could help you get some gigs. In this town you’ll find all sorts of clubs and I’m sure some of them will suit your fancy.

Prague, my city, is amazing at night. It’s the hub of the country and with almost 2M mortals it sure provides for good feeding! Prague Castle, the largest in the world, is quite a sight. It’s said that it’s also amazing during the day, but we wouldn’t enjoy that, would we? Anyhow, I’ll take u sightseeing, I promise.

Now, let’s see, here’s a quick survival guide any kindred arriving into Prague should know. First things first, the town ruler (for now) is Radek Meiste, he’s your clanmate, so you’re more likely to be easily welcome. He holds the leash of Mayor Pavel Bem (mortal), so yes, he’s quite influential. Oh, and watch out for Baclav Vuorinen, liaison to clan Tremere and apparently Radek’s errand boy although rumor has it that, as any “warlock”, he’s got a hidden agenda. You’ll find the prince in… yes, your guess is right: Prague Castle.

The National Museum, which I’m sure you will enjoy, is Elysium. Its keeper is Andreas Karsten from clan Brujah. I know what you’re thinking, but he’s the old style, idealist sort and he’s very adamant when it comes to keeping the pax vampirica within Elysium. Personally, I’ve always tried to be in good terms with him because he’s the only one who could allow me access to the knowledge in the museum.

Someone else you’re likely to meet is Viktor Czerny, he’s the primogen of clan Ventrue and the strongest contender to the big chair. he’s the head of a secret group of Camarilla zealots who think the current ruler should be replaced A.S.A.P. so as to restore “true camarilla order” or whatever that means. Now, don’t ask me what side I’ve chosen, ok? You know I ain’t telling you that.

I’d also recommend meeting with Kazimir, he’s another important member of your clan. He’s quite knowledgeable in kindred lore. He’s not a good friend of the prince, though.

Well, old friend. I must go now, there are some weird rumors I need to look into and you know information is golden.

Hope to share a drink with you soon enough,

Tobias.

I, Wertz Krachen

My name is Wertz Krachen, I'm a Duro. I have been talented with tools and mechanical things since I was young. My community (what humans call family) wanted me to become a Jedi, but no sooner did I get to the academy in Ossus than I was told that the force was not strong in me; thus they decided not to train me. This made me feel so frustrated because I was highly motivated and I did not wanted to let my community down, but when they learned about it, they could not accept the fact that I would not become a Jedi and they did not allow me to come back home.

Although I felt (I still feel) resentment towards the Jedi order, I decided to stay there, build a reputation and become the best hero the Duros have ever had in our history, but I have to do it in a different path: Mechanics and engineering. I tried to make myself useful in the academy hangars, at the beginning it was difficult because nobody trusted in my skills, but fortunately I met Bantha who gave me an opportunity to help him modify his spacecraft, I did my best and I impressed him in such a way that he took me in. Then I became Bantha’s apprentice, not only did he improve my mechanical and engineering skills, but also he trained me in basic combat techniques. Now it is just time to prove the Jedi order and my community wrong…

CHAD VADER

I, Soron Larco

My name is Soron Larco, I'm a Togruta, I'm from Corvala, capital of Shili. When I was so young that my lekku (head-tails) were still very short and didn't have any montrals (horns) to show, my parents sent me to Ossus to become a Jedi. At a very early age I began to show the necessary traits to be considered a candidate for Jedi Training. My parents said it's what I'm meant to be, like my distant ancestor Jedi Master Shaak Ti (the most outstanding Togruta ever) . And I will not disappoint them. I haven't seen my parents since I left and I don't know if I'll ever see them again, but I do know they'll be proud when they hear about the great feats of Jedi Master Soron Larco, in a not too distant future.

Since I got to Ossus I've been training under Master Echuu Shen Jon. I've learned a lot about the force, the Jedi code and lightsaber combat along with my fellow apprentice, a wookie named Gorwuken. He's sort of short and plump for the standards of his race but he's very strong and good with the lightsaber. He's a good friend, almost a brother. I hope we will go on a real mission together with our master. I look forward to some real combat.
